Stifi, You can do this using DM or CLI - you must first know which port the MAC (device you want to copy packets) is located. DM - Click on VLAN -> VLANS -> select Id of the VLAN then click on Bridge -> FORWARDING. Find the MAC in the list and then under the MONITOR column, change from FALSE...

There is a way to get both ingress and egress traffic from a specific port but you have to filter on MAC address.

Upgrade to 3.5, this version allows something called SSMLT. In other words, Single Port SMLT which will do what you are requesting. Hope this helps.

I'm guessing you are using the sho ip arp info CLI command to locate this MAC? If that isn't working, is the user directly connected to the Passport in quesiton? You could try sho vlan info all, then look for the MAC towards the bottom of the output. It's layer 2 so you won't see the IP but...

Is anyone using this on their Cisco swtiches? Does it work? What would be the average percentage of Bandwidth (broadcasts) that I would set the ports to so it would work effectively. Also does it actually disable the port when it reaches the specified percentage? Thanks to all who can help......
