Linksys WMP11 and Windows XP Wireless problem
Two simple things. I had similar problems and was able to solve them by (1) turning off my Firewall and (2) disabling WEP encryption. As soon as I did this, everything works. You can configure the firewall to allow it to pass through the IP of the other computers. I can't explain the WEP...- imflood

Linksys BEFW11S4v4 - WEP Encryption Incompatability
I have three laptop computers (2xToshiba & 1xSony) all using internal mini-PCI WiFi cards attempting to access a BEFW11S4 version 4 router connected through a Surfboard cable modem in a home network.
