That worked perfectly!
I stopped EDC/POS processing, then refreshed data. When the terminals came back up, the stuck transactions got offline authorizations. Turned EDC POS processing back on, and they automatically spooled and processed.
Thanks a ton!

Aloha 6.7.30
Lost fileserver today, went into redundant mode, brought back file server, exited redundant mode.
Somewhere during that, I now have three different tabs that have credit card transactions that are stuck "authorizing..." I cannot delete the authorization, and cannot do anything...
Hello everyone:
Does anyone have the 6.7.30 install that I could download from them? I have a copy from my dealer, did a brand new BOH server install with it about a year ago. All is well - but now I just bought some brand new terminals. Would like to get the terminals setup, but cannot find...
Just thought I'd report back my stupidity...
The reason the database upgrade wasn't working was the BootDrv was shared with only READ ONLY permissions. Once I changed it to Full Control, all is well!
Thanks very much for the help, everyone.
Absolutely - I just got the new key from my dealer. I have the new keycodes straight from NCR, and they are inputted - and working at least on the Server.
I was going to say - I could provide you with the CD image if you could help explain how I get from my 6.4 database to 6.7. :) I have a separate thread, really need some help. Any ideas?

Thanks for the thought - AlohaRoss beat me to it!
A bit of follow up to this thread - still requesting help! Loading Windows 7 32-bit on to ESXI worked like a charm, as did passing the HASP key through to the Operating System.
I got Aloha Table Service loaded on the new computer, as well as EDC (looks like I also have an upgrade to 7.x EDC -...
Hello all!
My restaurant is currently on Aloha 6.4.22 on Windows XP, Parallel port license key. I'm building a NEW server that will be running Windows 7 32-bit (just seemed like the easiest O/S - 64-bit an Server sounded like they were causing problems), with Aloha 6.7.30 on top.
The current...
I'd be interested in the terminals if you want to sell them, assuming they are in good, working order.
Are your keys USB or parallel? I currently have a parallel USB key, but am rebuilding my BOH server - and of course need a USB key.
Hello.
My restaurant is having challenges selling new gift cards. We have the Aloha BackOffice Gift Certificate system - but use magnetic strip gift cards with them. Our prefix is 10501, for what it's worth.
We've been using the system for seven years or so. We routinely re-cycle cards by...
Coorsman - yeah, I have a parallel key. SO, I would need a card/USB key/something.
Yes - I should probably start clean with a fresh install of Windows.
alohaakamai3 - that helps greatly - thank you.
To question 3 - understood. But, similarly to question 2, I don't see any reason why I can't on off hours try it with a new file server, and if I fail, revert back to the old that is just sitting unplugged?
To question 4 - I agree.
Hi all:
I have a history as an IT support/MIS/etc. consultant. I bought a restaurant four years ago - and we have Aloha. I haven't TOUCHED the entire network, but now it's time.
Question 1 - our BOH server has the standard "Alohasvr" login that has the registry autologin enabled. I'm a little...
