    WINS problem connecting through W2K VPN

    You can connect to the network through the W2K 2000 VPN client(PPTP). Once you are in the network, the WINS doesn't resolve names. But if you are physically in the network, the WINS server is working correctly. Any ideas of why the WINS will work internally but not from an external VPN connection???

    When you go to the mailbox properties, on the general tab you will see a button called"Primary Windows NT Account". Click this, and you will be able to choose the NT accounts from your PDC. Hope this is what you are looking for.
