    SSL Negotiation Failed

    Try this: Go into Tools | Options | Checking Mail Set Secure Sockets when receiving to If Available. If that's what it's set @ now, set it to never. You can do the same thing to the Sending Mail options. Let me know if that doesn't help.

    Norton Anti-Spam

    If I understand you correctly, you would like to disable the visual aspect of the error, right? Go to Tools | Options | Background Tasks Uncheck the box for bring error to window front. You will still, however, still get the error sound. Hope that helps.
