Do I have to create the Access List? All the rest of the ports that are open such as 3389 for remote desktop work with just a static route created.
Why can't I just create:
static (inside,outside) tcp x.x.x.131 pop3 192.168.1.11 pop3 netmask 255.255.255.255
I can't unfortunately. I am not on location, and I didn't have TFTP loaded to get the config uploaded. I got the routing working again. It turned out that I needed to do a clear xlate.
Now, I need to get POP3 working. I have the proper static route in place, like above, but when I telnet in...
All of your answers helped. Thanks a lot guys. Turns out that the Microsoft support link helped more then anything. I turned off Fixup Protocol, and it allowed me to telnet to Exchange immediately.
What ended up fixing it though, was a 'Clear xlate' command. There was obviously a setting...
Then on the Pix change the line you quoted from 192.168.1.19 to the internal IP of the spam server and test."
That's the problem. .1.19 IS the Spam server. It always has been. I don't know how e-mail isn't being routed through it.
I am definitely using a Cisco PIX. I have no access-lists setup on it. This is the exact setup I had before though. My static route is setup as follows:
static (inside,outside) tcp x.x.x.131 smtp 192.168.1.19 smtp netmask 255.255.255.255
What needs to change in the Fixup protocol? This is...
Internally I get the typical ESMTP response from the server. All e-mail is coming through fine. However the problem is that my e-mail is not supposed to be going directly to Exchange. We have a 3rd party solution to filter e-mail and it's not working. Routing on the server is setup properly...
Yesterday, I was working a Cisco PIX firewall for a client. I was attempting to open the POP3 port. I was unable to do so.(Another Question for another time).
Now we have another problem. We have two different servers here. One being 'Mail Marshall', their Spam Filter 192.168.1.19 and one...
I don't see 'Media Bay Module'. All that I see is Media Gateways. What kind of terminology do they use for 'Master/Slave' or timing settings, because I don't see anything relevant to that?
Having issues with our point-to-point connection and our provider is pointing to a few things.
1. Timing Issue
2. Frequency Issue
3. Master/Slave Issue
Can any of you tell me where these settings are on the BCM 400? I have scoured everywhere for them.
So I've been changing permissions to certain folders in a share and when doing so, the folder to which I have blocked access to users are not showing up to them either.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I'm just wondering how the heck they are doing it. The only thing I've found is...
I'm trying to figure how are system administrator is applying the default domain policy to remote users. When I run a gpresult, I'm seeing it applied during login, but I have no type of internet connection?
I believe I already know the answer to this question, but it still bothers me not really knowing. I'm trying to figure our network at my place of business on my own and this one thing still baffles me.
We have outsourced our web hosting to our domain(http://www.domain.com), but we have our...
I've been applying for jobs over the past month or so and yet to get an interview. I've got 7+ years experience in the field, so I figured it wouldn't be all that difficult. So, I'm concluding my resume is lacking in or many certain areas.
Would someone be willing to evaluate mine?
Why is Outlook 2003 only defaulted to new items in the inbox and not any other folder which you have e-mail routed to via rules?
How do you enable to it for other folders?
Thank Byundt...I think your's was the easiest to use and it worked flawlessly. I have several more cells of data, so this was just the beginning. Thanks to all of you guys though!
