We upgraded three 3300s in the lab. No problems yet. We plan on upgrading six in production tomorrow night. I'll keep you posted.
I thought there was some problem with an upgrade bug. All of the files didn't copy over to the system properly. This problem has since been fixed.
We have 100+ sites running 3300s (7.1) with only some minor issues. Sure, there are some annoying patches. It seems pretty par for the course. I haven't ran into anything out of the ordinary. Every software maker I've experienced has given me patches for strange problems.

XNET IP trunking between sites and the CO. There are two PRIs using digital trunking.
G.729 (compression) is used between the IP sites.

There is a customer with a new 3300 a(7.1.3.4) ICP at a site It has been in production for a few weeks. It is experiencing a lot packet loss on the E2T card. The allocated Cisco switchport shows no errors and the bandwidth is plenty avaiable for calls.
