Sorry for the late response, but i managed to resolve the issue by creating a file dsn instead of a system dsn. i have no clue why this worked and the other didn't. It'll be great if someone could enlighten us with the difference between the two.

Is there a way to find out the corresponding sql script that is executed when i change Oracle d/b tables through MSAccess using ODBC linked tables? I am running Oracle8i and MSAccess 2000.

Thanks for your response. Apparently, Oracle does not support this particular version of Oracle (8.0.5.2.1) and have advised to apply the patch 8.0.5.26 to fix a bunch of memory leak problems with 8.0.5.2.1
There is however no confirmation that this is due to a bug on that version.

Thanks guys for your responses. Apparently, this particular version (8.0.5.2.1) of Oracle has a bunch of memory leak bugs and is no longer supported by Oracle corp. Even though they did not confirm that this was due to any particluar bug, they recommended applying the patch 8.0.2.26.

I am running W-Nt server sp6a and Oracle with about 4Gb of RAM and keep getting this Dr Watson error. Changing the registry setting for desktop heap memory does not help. Any other hints?
