Hi, I have a document with a checkerboard filled with pictures and I want to put somehting over it so that the pictures fade from the the top to the bottom so they get lighter and lighter. Which tool would I use to do that in Illustrator. Any help would be appreciates
I have a background image in indesign and I want to make it fill in the text so the text looks like metal. I am having trouble doing it in photoshop bc when I place it in indesign the type is all pixelated. How do I use a clipping path in indesign to accomplish this? Would appreciate any help!

Thanks for the input. When I have searched for stock photos it seems like you can buy them with "points" does this mean they are only mine for a certain amount of time or is there a way I can purchase them and they are mine for good. Just trying to cover all my bases so I dont get sued! Thanks!
