I have not tried this but you could switch the csp to asp and then use the VID debugger, although the debugger is difficult to setup and is not all that great. VS.NET would provide much better debug support.

I've heard that this can be done, but it is not very efficient, because the report file is basically acting like a database at that point. .Rpt files are not optimized for this type of work.

I'm running CE10. I'm scheduling reports using the .NET SDK. In my scheduling code, I'm trying to set an email notification for when a report either succeeds or fails. I'm having a problem getting it to work. I'm trying to use the Notifications class.

I ran into this problem a while back. I found a problem with the setup program that Crystal had created for the offline viewer. The file type association was not setup right. There is a fix out there now.
I also had this problem. We resolved this by doing the following:
1. Apply IE 6 SP1
2. Apply IE 6 security rollup MS03-048
3. Apply Microsoft Hotfix Q818060
4. Add "DialupUseLanSettings=dword:00000001" to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
5. Reboot
