The netscreen is not capable of terminating VPN connections?
We have a pix firewall instead of the netscreen25 and we terminate the connections there.
For the clients to get LAN visibility you should give them an internal ip address, internal dns and then open the firewall for the internal IPs...
Hi all,
We are interested in implementing a Dual Hub Dual DMVPN solution and I would like to ask the following. Cisco says that only the primary hub is used for traffic and the second hub is used for backup, but we would like the spoke router to send/receive traffic on both HUBs depending on the...
Hi again,
this is the conf. To explain a bit
this is part of a test bed, it's not production.
I have two routers listening on the same ethernet segment and being HSRP enabled.
I want when the first one goes down, this one to bring up
the ISDN link and call the other side. So I want the isdn link...
Hi I have an isdn link that I want to get up for all other traffic except RIP.

Hi guys,
I have a user who is complaining that he can receive but not make any calls (either local or outgoing).
IDU returns the type of the device (M2008)
and stat returns it is idle
the programming on the TN looks similar like in the other phones.
Does it ring any bell? or are there any...
Since you bought this pix will failover licence, this is the norm. The router will restart once a day. It's mentioned at Cisco's site. This is done because the pix with failover licence costs much less than a pix with normal licence. Otherwise, everybody would buy the cheap solution.
A pix with...
in UK ISPs are required by law to record what sites each user has visited.
They are also going to pass a similar law in eu (if they haven't done it already). Also all telephone call details are recorded in eu, under the law for terrorism, which was voted by the european parliament a few months...
Hi,
I have a router A, which receives the same rip updates from 2 routers(B and C) with the same metric.
Which one, will A use for sending packets to these networks?
ps: B and C are for redundancy and when I install them, they will play HSRP. I just want to find out first, what will happen with...

Host2 can ping Router2, Router1
Router1 cannot ping Host2 (but can ping host1 and router2)
Router2 cannot ping Host1 (but can ping host2 and...
Hi,
I am using a dynamic crypto map with TED to encrypt an ISDN connection. It seems that UDP (RIP) traffic is not forwarded.
in the access list for crypto, it says that if you use ted, you can only specify IP protocol, not udp or tcp, so everything is encrypted.
Does anybody have experience on...
Hi,
When I use the Create Index Wizard, after I select a table it displays the current indexes.
The problem is that it lists an index for each column in the table although I haven't created them. (apart from the index for primary key which is auto created).
The list is like that...
Hi again,
I have this question. All the manuals say that you should set collation during setup. However I have never seen asking me for collation settings when I do a typical install of sql server 2000. Do I need to do a custom install?
Thanks,
George
