Fingers crossed, I’ve added the following entries RW_SBC_REG RW_SBC_Prov and the TLS, TCP & UDP ports
Can’t see why this would stop black listing though, although at this point I will give anything a try.
I can’t see anything in the install guide referencing adding a source number to no user?
Are you referring to the RW_SBC_REG=<SBC-B1-public-SIP-IPaddr>
Hi Derfloh yeah that's the plan and the way I would have set it up in the first place however it is still going to leave me with a situation where after 10 wrong password attempts is going to render all the remote users offline which cant be by design (maybe it can it is Avaya after all).
I know the park button on equinox isn’t working as yet and Avaya’s response to it last time I asked was it’s on the road map! Does anyone have anymore information on it?
We have a site that has an IP500 on R11 with a physical SBC, we have both the SIP and remote users using the same internal interface which I know is not best practice (not installed by me) and due to lots of users putting in the wrong passwords on their Equinox apps eventually leads to the...
Got this working in the end, the certificate on out test system was kaput, quick re-gen and bob's your uncle. Ironically on our first Equinox site install it just worked first time no issues.
Morning All,
I know call park is not currently available on Equinox at present other than using system short code but clearly there is a park button on the app so i'm assuming it will be a future feature. Does anyone on here have the skinny on it? Heard anything on the Avaya grape vine?
I still haven't had this working in that I can't control a handset (internal only) Im using service pack 2 and Equinox 3.5.5. Thus far Avaya have been of little help so no change there. I will ask the question again as the great reply from intrigrant went a bit of piste.
At this point im not...
As i am lead to believe with the release of service pack 2 on release 11 Equinox can now control certain IP handsets. Has anyone got this working yet? I hoped it would just be the case of selecting the handset at the bottom of Equinox at the "manage audio and video devises" but no joy.
Anyone...
Can anyone detail the meaning of this alarm and a fix other than swapping out the IPO CCU, its got the dreaded "i will reboot randomly when I want affliction" In the past we have always just swapped out the CCU but this seems really wasteful?

Geordie I find this easier to manage using the ARS table araea, set a short code to route your SIP calls to use the new table with the syntax explained by GSmith.
This is a separate WebLM, turns out the SBC trust store needs a certificate from the Weblm, this can be done via the ems cli following the steps below:
You can see below error in gui.log:

Afernoon,
Looking for a bit of advice and configuring the Avaya standalone Weblm, this is for an a Virtual SBC, do you set the webLM on the A1 or management interface. Im presuming Management but cant find anything to confirm this?
Hello clever collective,
I have a customer with a Splicecom S8000 (soft PBX running on Splicecom map server) with gamma SIP trunks with a Cisco 877 router. Normal calls are fine however when you set either a trunk to trunk or forward from a user to an external number there is no media on the...
FYI all responce from Avaya T4:
All XMPP connections on port 5222 start off as unencrypted. But before any password is sent the connection is upgraded to TLS. This upgrade is mandatory, the client
cannot elect to have the connection stay unencrypted. So the password is never
sent in the clear.
We have a few sites that have Gamma and Gamma assured trunks via a Avaya SBCE (i hate them also) we have a power point presentation we got from our Avaya supplier when they ran a 2 day SBC work shop
