We're creating a reporting data mart that is fed in large part with data from Great Plains. We need descriptive data field names, and really should have textual definitions for the fields. I've not seen any of this. Any ideas how to get human readable names and definitions?

It's not just old DOS programs. I have Windows 7 64-bit, and while it will run most 32-bit programs, I have several that just will not run on 64 bit. For example, the updater that updates the firmware in my bluetooth headset just won't run, no matter what. Same for my E-book reader software.
