When using the conference rooms in the UCX is there anyway to make the user pin change auto-magically or make it user (admin conference user) configurable ? It's one gripe our users have about sharing it with outside businesses and I would like it so that we(IT) don't have to remember to change...
I'm not sure that it is happening to everyone as I think I would have heard more complaints, but I now have at least two sets that every time you log in to voicemail, you have to go through the setup procedure. I've tried recreating the boxes as well, and the same thing happens after the first...
Someone moved a phone yesterday because they thought the phone was dead. Well the phone that they thought was dead and the good phone would just flash the phone lights when plugged in. If you unplugged and plugged back in, it would flash the lights and say Disconnected. Never did we get a...
Here is a screen shot at boot too, I don't remember this so I wanted to check if the message on the driver is normal.http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=1093009c-9e04-4f63-b1b7-0712c3806c15&file=WP_20150407_06_47_29_Pro.jpg
No downtime from 4/1 until this morning (looks like it died over the weekend sometime), I started getting emails from people. Nothing changed between those days...

Still watching in Debug on the PRI, some odd balls popped up today:
[Apr 1 10:34:22] NOTICE[3345] chan_dahdi.c: PRI got event: HDLC Abort (6) on D-channel of span 1
[Apr 1 10:34:24] NOTICE[3345] chan_dahdi.c: PRI got event: HDLC Abort (6) on D-channel of span 1

PRI has been in service since we moved to this location, ~7yrs now.
No changes.
Not sure on the card timing - or what that is.
We had one of the recommended vendors set this up a couple years ago and all we have done is add/remove DID's & extensions. Pretty basic setup.
What is odd is so far we can keep it up if we keep a call open from outside in. If we don't have any calls, within 10 minutes we will get all circuits are busy.
I have vehicle issues today so I am trying to work on them and help my co worker remotely.
After enabling debug I am seeing this alot:
[Mar 31 08:59:03] VERBOSE[3345] chan_dahdi.c: PRI Span: 1 TEI=0 Sending SABME
[Mar 31 08:59:04] VERBOSE[3345] chan_dahdi.c: PRI Span: 1 TEI=0 MDL-ERROR (G)...
Out of the blue are system has started acting up. We have a 450, and we are getting all circuits are busy, even though we have a Full T1 and only a single call or two going out. For example:
[Mar 30 13:02:54] WARNING[20221] app_dial.c: Unable to create channel of type 'DAHDI' (cause 34 -...
Ok, that at least lets me see what gets updated.
To clarify my first question, after kicking off this last batch, the error message says that httpd & mysql cannot be updated this way and have to be done through SSH. Does everyone install these updates that way or is that not recommended ?
Slightly general but if you choose all updates and install them, the system then complains it can't do certain ones while services are active. Do they get applied during a boot or shutdown?
Also I mentioned it before but a changelog would be nice so we could see why we are updating.
Thanks
Thanks there was some missing pieces. I now have that address set and that seems to have fixed the issue of the data routing. They seem to be getting alot of hiccups in the calls which seems odd as our router is bypassing any scanning on traffic to and from the phone system, just forwards it...
I had a nice long post but the forums bombed when I submitted.
Basically the remote site forwards all traffic from the phones over the data T1 that is there. The phones all have the public IP of the main facility as their S1 server address.
Main site has the UCx and the router with necessary...
