yes, ethernet is fine. Same problem on a couple of different subnets.
This morning it is working, but after a period of time will return to
attempting to re-register again.
I have built a phone that works initially, but after a period of time it will reboot.
After which it is unable to register. I loops between Node:1, and Forwarding......
Can't understand why? Have tried different TNs but the same thing happens.
Our site uses both Element Manager and the console to make changes to phone sets.
We are finding when changes are made to the console these aren't replicated to
element manager. We know that if we do a retrieve, this resolves the inconsistency
but is there any way to automate the retrieve...
Is there any links between OTM and sig servers, i.e. if you update a phone on OTM - will that communicate any configuration changes to the Signaling Server?
We currently use Contact Centre 6 and without training, we have been having difficulty understanding column titles within some of the reports (for example, Agent Performance).
Is there any good resource explaining what each piece of information means. Examples include ring time, waiting time...
We are about to enbark on a project that will replace all TDM based sets to IP ones. They are currently linked between two PBXs - CS1000M and CS1000E, with NRS and VNR being used to point to the appropriate PBX.
At the minute, I am creating dummy DNs on the CS1000E with a mass import using...
I'm I right in saying that you don't need a DSC if you have VNR set to yes? It will go straight to NRS if it can't find the DN on the local system?
Just thinking about this. The DN will be on the local site, so you do need the DSC to make it look at NRS to find the ATA end point. How to you...
I've printed off my SLT, but don't really understand some of the terms. I need to create a SIP extension. So I have any licences to allow this?
TRADITIONAL TELEPHONES 54 LEFT 28 USED 26
DECT USERS 0 LEFT 0 USED 0
IP USERS 2347...
Thanks for the reply. I believe we are using "Vacant Number Routing" as I was able to add an entry into NRS without any appropriate RLI defined for CDP.
Is there anywhere you can look to see if Vacant Number Routing is in use?
I'm wondering how the pbx determines where it should send a call to. Specifically I am thinking about CDP and NRS. Is this a bit like DNS looking up a server where it will look at the local host file, and then the DNS server, etc.
I want to know is it necessary to have a DSC for an extension...
Trying to import a csv file of phones. I have a single phone. First column is the TN. I am receiving the error below. Anyone had any experience of this?
Error occured while performing import!!For input string: " 0
Our organisation is looking to send out a maintenance contract for our Siemens system. For this, I need to get an understanding of what cards are currently installed in the system, as well as the software version for the PBX.
Anyone any ideas of the commands to obtain this?
Specifically, I'm interested in how to split a line up which has been read in from a file.
I'm able to read the file in, and can check that varible for a value (which happens to be TN,TYPE).
Then when I try to split this using:
strextract TN OPDATA "," 0
strextract PHONETYPE OPDATA "," 1...
Firebird Scrambler, Trying to adjust your script above to take a comma seperated files instead, and loop though with TN, TYPE being past to terminal. Here's what I have added(+)/changed(-).
The rest remains as is.
+STRING OPDATA
+STRING TN
+STRING PHONE_TYPE
PROC MAIN
STATMSG "Start"...
