Thanks,
I have done some research into replacement heat sinks as well. Since you have done some replacements yourself, are there any brands that you particularly recommend? Also, what kind of alcohol is good for removing the white paste on the ram and GPU?
I'm wondering if it's possible to have 2 video cards plugged on your motherboard.
The reason for this is that I'm thinking of getting a xfx 7900gs graphics card which I hear is very noisy. I will only really use this card when playing games and image editing. Because I have my computer on for...
Thanks there,
yea I think I will use an enclousure for my external HD.
I want to know though what the main difference is between all the Enclosures - some are very basic with no fans, some are very big and bluky and looks "expensive".
I mean, some of the smaller lighter enclosures, wouldn't...
Hi,
Do all external HDs have a fan? are there ones which don't?
Generally, I'd like to buy a very quiet external HD (i.e. not much noise when the HD is in operation, either writing something or read something).
Any suggestions would be helpful :)
hey, what I mean is, there should look somehting like this:
http://www.pcguide.com/intro/fun/z_000744jumpers.jpg
but the ones on my graphics card (and probably the ones on yours) would have 3 spikes and a jumper (a bit of plastic) covering 2 spikes.
just take the jumper off, and place them on...
Hi, I realise this is an old question, but I recently bought the same Acer monitor model and had the same problem, I had a Radeon graphics card.
The problem was solved by changing the jumpers settings on the graphics card.
i got 2 windows XP installed on my computer.
one doesn't bootup, one does (the lastest one). it's got the annoying boot screen where you have to select which OS you want to start when you switch on the computer.
that's not really what i want to disable though.
i want to uninstall the version...
so as the question say, is it possible to disable the user logon screens? a friend of mine said it was possible in win xp, but i found this page that said it's not:
http://uis.georgetown.edu/software/documentation/winxp/winxp.login.html
if you can, how do you?
Thanks
