We have not found a solution. We are also going to open a ticket with Avaya for this. Hopefully one of us will get it resolved and can post the fix.
Thanks,

I am having the same issue with call-waiting, and have verified all of my settings are as detailed above. We have Aastra 9116 as well.
Call-waiting still does not work for us. I get the beep on the receiving end, but when i hit the flash, I get dial-tone, the call i am on goes to the MOH and...
We just upgraded to CM5.2 from CM3.1.4. In our system we had created under "abbreviated-dialing system" an entry so that when voicemail users went to voicemail they would only have to enter their password: "[server-extension]~p#" so in our system it looked like this: "8801~p#"
Now when users...
I have been tasked with researching whether or not my company has to upgrade to CM5 from CM3.1.4
Of course this was not budgeted for.
I have tried to sell the upgrade with the "PROS" of doing it, but there is just not enough for them to sway in favor. Looking at the "CONS" side is now the way...
Just posting a follow-up on this. I was going to work on this more today, and everything is working fine now?! I do not know anything that has changed, except that i uninstalled and reinstalled the SW on my PC. Possibly that is the fix. Sorry, I should have tried more troubleshooting before...
I have recently updraded to ASA 8.0(3) and ASDM 6.1(1) and now several of my ASAs are unable to be connected to via the ASDM?! The error states:
"Your ASA image has a version unknown which is not supported by ASDM 6.1(1)"
I have already tried removing the ASA image and replacing it with a newly...
I am having a strange problem. In the past when a call went to cover from a directors phone to his staff assistant, and she transferred the call back to his extension, it would go straight to voicemail. This is no longer happening? The call now just follows coverage back to the staff assistant...
I did some more research and found that all of the remote sites were pinging each other at 99/100%, but any site pinging the main site would ping anywhere from 58% to 92%. Unless it was afterhours, when there was no traffic, then they were able to ping 100%.
I contacted our ISP and they found a...
I should probably add that in the Syslog Messages one of the errors is:
Group = 75.x.x.x,IP=75.x.x.x, IKE lost contact with remote peer, deleting connection (keepalive type:DPD)
Thanks...

Thanks Matt!!! I was having issues using the rommon method you first posted, but the second post solved my issue. I booted to the previous image, deleted the asa803-k8.bin, downloaded it again, uploaded to the ASA and it booted to it with no problem this time...
Now I am back to my original...
I was recently working with Cisco on a problem our ASAs are having and was told to upgrade from IOS 8.02 to 8.03 as part of the solution. Now, when the ASA reloads it says loading.... boot.... and then just hangs with a flashing cursor??? Anyone know what to do next to get into it to get it to...
Yes, the tunnel is working fine, there are different subnets at both ends. I just want to leave it up to use for test configs, but want to be sure my personal browsing does not happen through the other side of the tunnel.
Thanks! I will try this later today and let you know how it works...
Are the internal address ranges overlapping?
Do you mean the addresses that ASA is issuing through DHCP? I have only one range setup.
Anyways I will try what you have suggested...
THANKS!
I am new to ASA configuration, actually this is my first attempt. I was able to bring up the site-to-site VPN from the remote site to the ASA at our main office. And yes, I had to use the ASDM to get it working correctly :o)
I am trying to find a way to have traffic go out locally for my...
