Figured it out. You can make Ext to Ext calls all day unless you had just placed a call on hold. They were using line appearances instead of park. With a call on hold you couldn't call another extn over speakerphone and have audio. Strange.. Change to Call Parks buttons and we are back in...
I have a customer with a new installation here that has no audio periodically when calling other extensions. We are using internal auto answer. When this feature is off the phone rings fine and audio passes fine. 4.0.4 fw on phones. VCMs are not congested.

When site 1 calls site 2 and the called site 2 ext. is twinned to a cellphone, the cell phone see "restricted" in the called ID. It was fine before upgrade.

Actually I cant even park or put a call on hold until it is answered. Usually you can wait until the call starts to ring and then you get the chance to place the call on hold or park even before it is answered...Right??

I created a firewall entry on the IPO side allowing ports 5060, 80, and 443 from the ip of the offsite phone. Just that one public IP had access to that port. Then the phone found the files and runs perfectly.
