Yes, I tried this too, but the sliders of the audio properties and the creative mixer are linked and so it didn't solve the problem.- cbasstn

I also have a problem with my SBLive under Win2k. The sound is extremely loud. I turned down the volume of my speakers to a minimum and also does it with the volume control of the the creative mixer but it's still very loud.
