I have a table of data collected at regular intervals from a series of customers. I have managed to display the data in groups by customer, then by unique entity (tank). Each Tank record now has 5 lines of data (one for every date collected). I want to be able to only view the most recent record...
Ian - I am referencing a view, that did not behave in this way on Friday of last week. I have sought feedback from my dba, but being the 4th July I am not holding out hope.
A pre built report has suddenly started to show negative numbers as positives and vice versa.
I have checked the DB and the numbers appear to be stored correctly, so something has changed in my report..
can anyone help?
I am trying to use a parameter to exclude data from the select, but optionally. If no value is stored in the parameter I want it to show all data. Is this possible?
Howard are you sure that that syntax is correct as I am getting @ the remaining text does not appear to be part of the formula.
my syntax
{CUSTOMER_SITES.SITE_CUST_ID} = {?Customer} and
{ALARMS_INCOMING.ALI_VRSC_RCD_TIME} in {?Start Date} to {?End Date} and
isnull({?Alarm Removal})then true...
I wish to use a parameter to exclude data from my select query the problem is handling a null value..for example
I wish to offer the user the option to select from a list items that they do not want to be included or leave blank to include all records..
How would I write this into my select...
the numbers after the measured could potentially be negative, but this indicates a recording error.
It is possible that there will be multiple lines of data in the string, and I have no control on this output.
I guess we need to split somehow using the delimters in place, Start of Line, "-"...
I thank you both for your help I have one another question should I get the following scenario..how do I get around it?
Tank/Sensor-number: 06 - Questionable Deiveries:
01/13/2011 02:00:00 - Ticketed=14802.0 - Measured=-14859.0
01/12/2011 02:19:00 - Ticketed=14703.0 - Measured=-14767.0
I would like to search a string for a keyword or phrase and subsequently strip the keyword and the proceeding characters from the string.
for example
Tank/Sensor-number: 04 - Questionable Deiveries:
01/02/2011 02:00:00 - Ticketed=14400.0 - Measured=11655.0
Find 'Ticketed=' and return...
Can anyone help? I am now looking after the Realitis ACD for my call centre and have no user guides, to enable me to make simple changes etc. Would anyone be kind enough to forward me a copy?
