Why ? I'd like to edit some of the things (just text for now :) inside an IOS.
And I want it to still run after editting. I haven't tried editting things to see if it'll still run after.
Later I'd like to decompile some too.
I have a 4000-M, and it won't load an IOS that is about 6,500,000 compressed. It will load one about 6,100,000. So this makes me curious, is there a scientific way (the more complicated but accurate the better !) to calculate the DRAM required ? feature Navigator is but of little use. If I were...
I have an older 4000-M, and would like to route between vlans, is this possible ?
If so, what would be the oldest IOS to do this (don't you just love the Feature Navigator ?) and smallest, as I only have 16MB DRAM.
