Hi All,
I've got a CR Server XI installation that runs very stably. Recently had to switch the SMTP port for email destinations.
Went into CMC and into the Destination settings for each of the 4 servers listed below, and changed the port on each from 25 to the new port...
Hi Gerry,
Thanks for the reply. There is not another startup folder under File Locations. Is there any other place I should be checking to find a 2nd startup folder?
Thanks,
AJ
Hi All,
I have a Word 2010 install on Win7 Pro/64 where a macro template had been placed in the Startup folder. I replaced the template in the startup folder with a newer version, but it still runs the old version. If I delete the template from the Startup folder entirely, the macro still...
I also wanted to add, that this document is in protected mode because it uses an abundance of formfields, all organized and position by tables.
The user works on MANY documents of this nature, but it seems to be mostly the larger ones that have this problem. Smaller ones are generally fine.
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reply. I did try working with different versions and freshly made versions of the document to no avail. I can now replicate this behavior on 3 Win7 machines running Word 2002. I also can verify that it does NOT happen on OTHER Win7 machines running Word 2002 in my...
Hi All,
I have two users who recently switched to Win 7. One is running Word 2002 and one is running Word 2003 in Win 7 (64 bit). Both are demonstrating the same issue. Other users on the same config are not having the issue.
When they open a large document, as soon as they start to...
Hi Ken,
Thanks very much for your post.
This is definitely related to conditional suppression.
-No Subreports
-The Record Number DOES actually get lower when group repeats, so it is the same data, redisplayed.
-The table is just a straight Access table. No views or stored procedures...
@lbass
I was using it previous to posting, but I had already removed it before making the first post here. And when I rebuilt the report from scratch, I never inserted it.
Here's extra weirdness. I can F5 to refresh the report, and sometimes it comes out right, and sometimes it comes out...
Quick further note on behavioral weirdness.
When I change the selection criteria of the report and it asks to refresh the data, this first run is always correct. If I press F5 to refresh (even though the data hasn't changed) the problem suddenly occurs.
Also, when running the report inside...
@ Mawdawc,
Goo thought, I'll look at that. But I don't think it is the problem, because the same data is repeated in both groups. So it seems more like the data is simply being displayed twice.
@ lbass,
I did try that yesterday, and it went well for a while. I was trying to make one...
Okay, then. Opening this back up.
The problem does still exist. It seems to somehow be related to page breaks. Records are listing like this
Location 1
--data
--data
--data
Location 2
--data
--data
Location 3
--data
===PAGE BREAK===
Location 2
--data
--data
Location 3
--data
Location 3...
Hold off. This may simply be the result of a syntax problem with OR usage in the selection statement. Added some () to specify some distinction and it seems to have solved it.
Cheers.
Hello,
I have a fairly simple report that is behaving oddly in CRXI
It is based on a single table.
Two fields are Grouped
Group 1 = Location (sorted ascending, Keep together)
Group 2 = Job # (sorted ascending, keep together).
Group 1's Name value is displayed in GH1.
Details are...
This worked.
I did as @ianoctdec suggested to get the report to be only 1 blank page if there was no data.
Then I did as @Bloke152 suggested and set the report to PDF format and to print pages 2-999.
Worked like a charm.
Thanks very much for the help.
Cheers,
AJ
@Bloke152,
Yes, this is exactly what I want to accomplish. Can you give me a quick overview of how you set the schedule to start printing on page 2? I'm not familiar with that. For a blank Page 1, I'm assuming you did a "New Page Before" or similar in the section expert. I would really...
Hi All,
I use the Infoview scheduling option to run certain reports periodically.
Is there a way Suppress the run of a scheduled report if there is no data matching the report criteria?
Appreciate any help.
Thanks,
AJ
Hi all,
I'm trying to run a simple check for an existing record to update, but for some reason my Select statement doesn't find the record with the matching text field in my Access table, even though it exists. If I switch over and use an integer field with the same select statement it finds...
Hi All,
Just wondering if there were any caveats to using Discard over Deny when setting up rules to block traffic. I believe I have seen references to things that won't work correctly if you turn on stealth mode (Discard All). If I, for instance, am just singling out a few hosts that...
