Using Jabber as the phone for CUACA, the transfer option is not there with the local attendant software. I am going to try to update the desktop software to see if that makes a difference. Jabber external transfers work when using the application by itself. Any thoughts? - Thank you
Does anyone know the manual way to update the SIP Gateway on a CS1000E registered to System Manager? Avaya has a way to do this.
Understood that the normal way is System Manager > CS1000 > Element Manager > Nodes, Servers Media Cards > Nodes > Gateway > TLAN IP Address of Proxy Server
Error Message:
The node cannot be saved with the current configuration. Refer to the highlighted explanations below.
- Server with hostname "Samss01" does not belong to CS1000 System for current Call Server.
I have tried adding it under the System Manager > Elements > Tree View but that...
Thank you bignose21. The RLI works as long as I don't have 911 as an ESA. I had 911 set as NPA and tried it as UKWN & SPN. I'll try it as NXX. Once I make 911 the ESDN, the calls stays CDP. I'm going to try to convert it to a 7 Digit NXX for the SIP E911 that ends in 911 and let Session...
Is it possible on a Nortel CS1000 7.65 to set 911 ESA in load 24 to RLI and change 911 to from CDP to NPA so it will go out the SIP Trunks, fail over to Ground Start and be able to set an OSN Key? I have been able to get fail-over without using ESA and the OSN Key using ESA. -Thank you
I can't find how to turn on Night Serv Direct Dial on a TIE route? It seems to be on by default for a public-ntwrk but not a tie? Is there a place to turn it on? - Thank you
Thank you. When I tried to remove and re-add those entries, I get the warning below. I guess someone did something. At least, I know what the general problem is.
Warning: the following 2 FQDN and Transport entries have no matching Routing Entity Link(s). If SIP entities, they require an...
I see the Failover Groups, but I don't see any load balancing on System Manger for the Session Manger Servers. I seem to remember it was possible using local Host Name Resolution but I can't seem to get that to function. Perhaps I stood too close to 4:20 guy this morning. If anyone can help...
I believe the reason we now have to use Long Distance has to do with the CLID number that is showing up since we starting converting to SIP. We have to out pulse the number based on site or extension, not as what is coming out the local trunks for SIP. That seems to fit the issue to a T incase...
If anyone has any thoughts on how to remove the need to make the cfxa forward a long distance call when dialing from one site to another such as a KC user dialing a San Fran extension and having to be forwarded as 91415xxxxxxx, let me know. - Thx
Thanks. I have looked into those settings. It appears I have to add a 1 to allow it. When dialing from a San Francisco Phone test phone to a KC phone that is forward to 9816xxxxxxx, I get a recording that says I have to dial 0 or 1 in front of the call. Works fine, if the forward is set a...
I have compared the redirection settings (RDR) & CFF is set and they are the same. One site works the fine. The other does not. I have looked at the RDB & sets along with the NET. I have found this in the past but I am drawing a blank now. Any thoughts? If I dial an extension located in a...
