Hi Had to replace an MSM the other day, such a palaver getting an ip address into it, nearly had to type the full running config in...anyone know how the least number of commands to assign an ip so I can tftp the config... thks peter I'm buying a supervisor engine flash card and saving all the... -

many thks... the set logging console disable works when I telnet or plug the serial cable/console onto the switch...however its the router module where the aal5 faults are being a pain but I'm getting there, I now consider the fault to be hardware inthe switch/processor Controller0... best... -

nope dont work, tried everything...I'm getting good at the many variations in commands...I'm on a 6509 IOS 12.01a, now if I had access to all the other IOSs to try I could write a book....another sh mmc ports dont work either...neither does no logging xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx but sh mmc port 0 1 etc... -

Yes, yore right, reported and Cisco don't know whether its a hardware or software fault...Ive supplied various figures to them, still no joy...no joy either with 6509 ver 12.01 cli command structure...why sh mmc ports dont work or sh switch fabric...wrong version probably...still it passses the... -

Hi Getting a flood of aal5 messages (probably a hardware switch processor fault or port stuck - anybody seen/fixed this before) so cant get console command messages in, anybody any ideas ...set logging disable dont work.. telnet wont work router module locked... dont want to switch off/reset... -
