Add/Remove Programs Gone from Control Panel !
Guys....I found out the answer. Thought I'd post it here for others who might encounter the same problem. The fix was to restore the Appwiz.cpl file which was missing from the C:\Windows\System folder. Refer to: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=195064 OK, how to restore it? Refer to...- BillR69

Add/Remove Programs Gone from Control Panel !
It's not a problem of getting an error message. It's just totally absent from the Control Panel. I guess I've deleted something improperly.
