    I did have wsftp on my last OS install. The errors didnt seem to coincide with this installation.. But I have just installed zonealarm firewall, and it has seemed to take care of this problem.. I also found ago31.exe in my system wich is some dodgy worm, so i got rid of it and it seems to work...
