hmmm... both hardware and software discovery have been run..... maybe it has to be run again after the security tool has been advertised? I guess I'll try this later today.... thanks for the suggestion! any other ideas? Robert- rplatt

I'm using SMS 2003. I've installed the Security Tool and Office Patch Tool and have advertised it to a test pc. I'm trying to verify everything is working properly, but I'm missing the "Software Updates" section when I start Resource Explorer on my Collection and Look in the...- rplatt
