Restrict calls with location and ARS

I figured it out. I can't have the user in *any* User Rights group or it uses the ARS rules. I removed the user from the User Rights group and then just applied all the necessary short codes to the user. Thanks for the suggestions.

Restrict calls with location and ARS

Hi all, I am running Avaya IP Office 9.1 and am serving four different locations from one IP Office instance. I created a Location for each IP subnet. I created an ARS for dialing short codes. I assigned the correct ARS for each location. This allows the dial out codes to include the correct...

    Avaya 3641 alternatives

Hi, I am running Avaya IP Office 9.1 and have about two dozen 3641 wireless phones in use at three different locations. These have worked pretty well for us as they are in warehouses and the calls tend to be internal only and short. I have built my wireless network in a very robust way to help...

IP Office Time and Phone Time different

It is hardly my biggest problem with IP Office. Just annoying and causes the users to get in an uproar. I asked because I though it was a bug and something was broken. But no, it's a design feature. We have time clocks and PC apps that use exact time. Our users that are on the phone a lot...

IP Office Time and Phone Time different

Wow. Just wow. That's really disappointing. I hadn't come across either of those before. I have been designing and working on networks for decades and NTP is one of the very oldest Internet protocols. It's *extremely* frustrating that all devices in this day and age don't have accurate time...

    IP Office System Status

I understand that using System Status is not a perfect solution. But in this case it is a tool we can use for most of our immediate needs. No, I don't *need* 20 agents monitored. But I'd *like* almost everyone to be monitored since that is what the users are doing now. I understand about using...

IP Office Time and Phone Time different

Hi again all, I have an odd issue I can't figure out or get an answer to: After some issues getting our IP Office to use NTP (SNTP) correctly we now have the system time set correctly. I can verify this from looking at System Status > Resources > Time as well as looking at Features > System...

    IP Office System Status

Thanks for the info. I just had no idea. And even if that quote is 20% too high it's still way way beyond what I was thinking. For this small shop we'll just use System Status even if tlpeter says it isn't to be used by customers. Sorry, but I *did* pay for it so I *will* use it... JF

    IP Office System Status

Thanks again all for the tips. I am running a trial of Xima Chronicall currently. I can say it works pretty well. However, I also just got pricing for 100 user standard plus 20 realtime agents - ~$9k! Ouch! Too bad, looks like a decent product. JF

    IP Office System Status

We are running IP Office 500 v 9.1.x We use System Status to monitor Active Calls and it has been working fine. All of a sudden starting last week it shows along the bottom of the frame "Refreshing after Config Change" and then it shows this screen: And then if I hit the Full Details button...
