I've traditionally used a combination of free software firewalls and anti-virus/spyware. Recently I ran across a product by F-Secure called Internet Security 2007. Has anyone used this product? or can they recommend any other good options? I have two laptops that I support that I want to lock...
I'd rather keep somethings out of the Windows world, so enabling a DHCP server on that box isn't really an ideal solution for me at the moment.
Thanks for the input,
Eric
I am not good at scripting but I bought a book a while back that at least helped me create some scripts and edit other people's scripts and add a few modifications. The book is by Microsoft and called:
Microsoft Windows Scripting Self-Paced Learning Guide by Ed Wilson.
On a different note...
Thanks! Both servers are on the same subnet and in the same rack. The problem that occurs is when I bring that old server down, I tend to have login problems until that server is brought back up. Is the logon server information cached?
Eric
I recently added a new Windows 2003 DC. I moved all the FSMO roles to the server, but when I run addiag.exe fromt he support tools on my workstation it still shows the old server as the logon server. Any idea what I may have forgotten? or how to change the logon server?
Thanks,
Eric
