thanks guys, that helped alot, and was easy. I got into the raid config menus and chose a new configuration, which seems to have removed the ability to boot up at all. Just fine by me. I just hope the next user cant simply install an OS and see the data?- belay70

Guys - simple question here Im sure, but am a newbie so would appreciate the help Ive been given a dell server that was previously part of a domain, but cant login. is that because it cant verify the login password against the domain database? I cant even see it via a crossover cable, on my...- belay70
