cndcadams, The cable is an ethernet cross: 1-3, 2-6, 3-1, 4-4, 5-5, 6-1, 7-7, 8-8. (I do have link lights on both ends so I wasn't concerned about the cable) The other system is just a Windows PC NIC I am using to test connectivity. SUN V210 CONFIGURING bge1
I have configured bge0 using setup and it works. I have configured bge1 and it APPEARS correct. However, I cannot ping it from another host directly connected to it with a crossover cable. Nor can I ping that host from the V210. Everything looks good after ifconfig -a I do get good link lights...- meierw
