What version of windows do you have? Do you get an error code?

It sounds like your windows register needs cleaned. Go to google.com and search for regclean. Download the executable file. I had problems starting my computer also and this helped. GOOD LUCK!!

When I minimize a program it doesn't appear on the taskbar for Windows 98. When I do a CTRL+ALT+DEL it shows the program is running but there is no way of bringing up the program because it is not on the taskbar. Rebooting does not solve the problem. I have even reinstalled windows 98 but it...
