    Thanks a ton smitee, you were right on the first of your 4 options: after I turned off the "forms" autocomplete, it works perfectly! I wonder why their most advanced browser is so terrible at a feature they pioneered. Anyway, thanks again!

    By this I mean any time that I have to "click" on a submit button (search engines, webmail, etc) IE freezes for 5-6 seconds, then after it unfreezes it makes the "click" sound effect that should have been made as soon as I clicked the button 6 seconds prior. I've tried...
