    XML Newbie - Default Value of Null

    I am relatively new to using XML. Is it possible to set an elements default value to NULL in an XSD? I have tried severals ways unsuccessfully to do this using the designer in vb.net. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sergio Ora
