Console login - newb
Thanks, but I'm guessing it's related to the crappy onboard video. Unfortunately, there's no AGP slot - so I can't stick a decent video card in there. This computer was given to me, but Windows makes me want to vomit. I'd hate to have to stick Windows on it.- mrstrat

Console login - newb
I've installed Solaris 10 on a spare PC (I'm a Mac person at heart). It installed in text mode even though I have 512MB...probably from the built-in video of the Dell GX110. But when I reboot and the OS starts, it asks for a console login. During the installation, it did not ask for any login...- mrstrat
