    i know lol but i keep getting conflicting instructions. some say u can use xmodem, some say u cant. do u personally know if xmodem will work on the 2501?

    no, not ebay. http://www.ciscokits.com/cisco-dual-2501-router-ccna-kit/ unplugged transceiver.....still not showing in "show ip int brief". just so i understand, i am SUPPOSED to see an ethernet port when i do "show ip int brief". correct?

    no, this is the first time i have tried to use it. i have a crossover cable from my pc nic to the 2501 aui with transceiver. light on nic is on, so is transceiver light. but the problem is, it wont let me type "int e0". keeps saying invalid marker..
