Find Computer name on network
Would be grateful for help with the following issue: Can VBA find the name of each computer on a LAN. Create a variable to store each computer name for use in the OpenDatabase function name. Thanks in advance for any help with this.- garryhinch

Opening an Access_be
I have a backend database on a network which badly needs to be compacted.I need to be able to open the backend from one of the front ends of the split database and then close it again to force it to 'compact on close'.Is this possible? Many thanks for any help offered- garryhinch
