    All Office Application taking long time to load

    I too run xp and have had same problems. I used detect and repair unsuccessfully. removing the plug in for Nortons speeds things up. I then updated Nortons and enabled the office plug in. Now the office aps startup is intermittently slow!! Very confusing. DC
