I believe that the 1 is a SPRE code for this system and the 6 is the follow on for authorization code access. Once you dial 16 plus your PIN you receive dial tone - hit the LD trunk.- richardsgs

We have a Meridian CS1000M and we currently are required to dial 16 then a PIN to access the long distance trunk. We are looking to eliminate the PIN requirement. Any suggestions on the steps to take to do so would be appreciated. Thank you- richardsgs
