Intermittant DNS resolution
We have since installed W2K Pro and configured it to be a DNS server and have had considerable changes (positive) in reliability and stability of resolution. Thanks to all (1) of you who took the time to give me your opinions. - Doc- DocMorgan

Intermittant DNS resolution
I have a DNS Server. Every once in awhile I loose DNS res. for 5 minutes. There are errors in the OS event log that don't even co-incide with the times I loose DNS so I am sure they don't have anything to do with the problem. I have a IDS sensor sitting on the same piece of my network as the DNS...- DocMorgan
