    AnindoGanguly, I don't know if you are using Exchange 5.5 but we have the same problem. I found a technote on veritas that does descibe the problem and a solution to it. We decided to make only full backups of exchange. Veritas technote id = 247453 Microsoft KB = Q309149 Hope it helps...
