Can't use Visual Database Tools
I am using VB6 Enterprise edition connecting to either Access or SQL server databases. I click the Data View icon, and set up new data link connections perfectly ok, test the connection, can see the data in the tables, but can't open the Query designer or table designer...I'm just not given the...- babbot

No design option on tables/diagrams in data view window
There's no problem creating tables on the database. Everything else seems hunky dory...I can update data when I open the table through the data link, but there is no 'Design' option on the menu when I right click on the table. Similarly with the diagrams, and I can't open the query designer- babbot

No design option on tables/diagrams in data view window
I have set up a datalink to a SQL server database(s), but when I right click on a table I can open it to view the data, but there's no design option. Why can't I see it.- babbot
