Cyberdrive cdrw not recognised at post
thanks stuartd. 1)I have checked the cable is the right way round. 2)I have tested the channel 3)I have tried several differnt 40 and 80 ide connectors 4)I have set the IDE channels to auto 5) checked for bent pins. I know it isn't faulty because it is recognised and loads into my older...- morven

Cyberdrive cdrw not recognised at post
I have been building a computer from scratch. I cannot get my computer to recognise that I have a cyberdrive cdrw. It does not power up at post. However, if I take out the IDE cable leaving the power cable in, it receives power as i can open the tray. Also it is recognised in my other...- morven
