Is it possible to allow NAT loopback on the 800 series router?
I have 2 public DNS servers that run under the same 837 router. Since my last router didnt support this, I had to create the most gawd-awful setup with bind using views...
Wouldnt this work?
access-list 102 deny udp any any eq netbios-dgm
access-list 102 deny udp any any eq netbios-ns
access-list 102 deny udp any any eq netbios-ss
access-list 102 permit ip any any
then apply this list to your interface like this:
interface Ethernet0
ip access-list 102 in...
I have an 837 running 12.3.2T and use 'extended access-lists' along with CBAC. Everything is working fine...but I am having trouble understanding something...
I -thought- I read that you have to use 'extended' access-lists when configuring CBAC...but I see examples of where normal access-lists...
