PIX 506 vs MS Exchange
Hi by your question I assume you mean that you can collect mail from hotmail through the pix? If this is so it is probably due to an existing global statement, allowing an inside user out for 'most any purpose. it is not related to no SMTP mail in for exchange In the simplest of terms there...- Pcarcary

Who know how to block Sircam Virus in PIX?
Hi There are a couple of options here, A good AV software (McAfee is one I like) will allow you to define file extensions that are stopped. since a double extension seems to be a signature of this it works..Also McAfee includes a FOC Groupshield scanner for exchange that stops these things...- Pcarcary

Pix 515R and Netmeeting
Hi Are you using PAT to get through the PIX ? PAT does not work with H.323 applications or caching nameservers. Do not use a PAT when multimedia applications need to be run through the firewall. Multimedia applications can conflict with port mappings provided by PAT.- Pcarcary
