is there paper jammed when you remove the toner cartridge? if not, try cleaning the grey rubbery pick-up roller that sits above the front of the tray ... use a slightly damp cloth and carefully wipe all the way round. over time, the roller picks up grease etc and won't pull the paper into the...- johnofyork

Network Printing Problem
not too helpful, but some things to try: i had same problem with networked Optra S 1855 ... no error messages, prints fine on parallell, can be pinged (and flashed) on the network but make it live and nothing happens - apart from cycling through busy/waiting states. second printer on same port...- johnofyork
