Thanks for all the replies and help on this.
I got a Bell guy to come in help - it took him a while as well - so it wasn't just me :)
Thanks again !
Roger
I have tried a few things as I am somewhat familiar with the system - I've read some other things where the DLI or DN must be changed but I'm not familiar with how to access those features to change them.
Another user helped me and I'm not sure what this means:

When my users dial...
After i get in - which menu is it John ?
I have made changes on these phones many times - I'm just unfamiliar with the setup part of it.
When my users dial with the "519" before the #, they get a busy signal after 7 digits.
Sorry for being a pain :)
Thanks for the quick reply John, but I'm just not familiar with the system, and I am not sure how to get to these commands
LD 86

Are they command line references ? I assume I can't do these directly from the phone set right ?
I've read a few faq's about this and it seems simple. I found something about an RLI and a few other acronyms that I don't know.
How does one get into the RLI to change the setting ?
Thanks in advance.
PS - Our Models are M7310. Our phone system is pretty old - about 8 yrs old.
Thanks for the info.
I went into maintenance and did tests on the ports for both phones, and it asked me if I wanted to disable them first and I hit yes. Then it re-enabled them after the tests were complete. Is that how you disable the ports ?
Thanks Westcoaster for that info - I checked the logs and it seems that EVT695 has happened well over 115 times in the last 2 weeks.
Is there a fix for this ? I'm going to look up what all these error codes mean.
Thanks Westcoaster, I checked that and it says EVT695 has repeated 115 times in the 30 days...
What can fix this ? There are other error codes too.
Thanks.
I've run the BERT test (voice and data test) on both extensions and one passes both tests, and one fails the data test.
What does that mean for that extension and where do I check that data error ?
Is there anyway I can reset the phones (clear out the profile) ?
I appreciate the help !
Yes the same profiles came back on the phones after they were moved. I had them set to relocation on then off after I moved them back to their original locations.
What is a BERT test ? And how do you do it ?
Thanks for the responses so far !
Thanks for the advice...I checked the wires going to the BIX and found that only the blue pair are on both. I re-inserted them and punched them into the BIX to make sure they're tight.
I went back to the phones and checked and voila ! No volume...doh ! I unplugged one and it came back...
That's what I'm wondering as well...sorry my phones are M7310 models. Not sure of version. I'm not very involved in the process of maintaining these sets but I am learning :)
I'll check the BIX and see what comes of the phone set #'s and if 2 are crossed.
If anyone else has any suggestions...
We have several extensions here, and I have a problem with 2 of them. At one point - these two phones were moved to different offices and then moved back - the profiles seemed to load ok - they both work.
PROBLEM: When some uses ext. 1 then ext 2 has no volume, if you wait until the person...
