Booting to SSA disk
Our customers have existing F80's that use all SSA drives. The systems were configured to boot to SSA. We have had two hdisk failures lately on two different machines and IBM has replaced with exact replacement drives. The problem is when we try to re-mirror hdisk1 and hdisk0 it comes back... -

I am unable to boot AIX 5.2 CD's on pseries b80 or 630 when using ascii console only.(no graphics) Hangs at c45. Anyone out there had this problem or a solution? I have tried all serial ports separately or all together. It has worked once with ascii on s1 only. Not reliable though. Using IBM...
