    I solved my promblem, IDE not hooked up right. For abrahap, you might want to check out NTSF, ur Hard Drive might not be compatible with FAT 32. NTSF= New Technology File System for the hard disk partion. You might have to reinstall XP w/ new HD and choose NTSF

    I was adding a 258mb pc100 dimm, turned it back on. Recived error "Hard Disk(s) Diagnostics Fail" Everything was connected right, checked power, IDE, etc. Has to be Hard Drive. I'll get the specs later, don't have with me. (hard drives specs) I have XP Pro on a x86 based machine...
