    The application connects just once, at startup. The timeout is not explicitly set, so whatever the default is. What's driving me mad is that this runs fine for some period of time...hours, even...then SQLServer just stops receiving data with no warning. Thanks. Sheila

    Changing NT password causes SQLServer to fail

    I'm running SQLServer on an NT 4.0 workstation using NT authentication. Today my NT password expired, so I changed it, and now SQLServer won't start because of a bad password. Is this password stored somewhere? How can I force SQLServer to accept the new NT password? Thx, Sheila
